Chinese discovery time: in August 2001, the Nanjing geological and paleontological Institute, Professor Chen Junyuan of the central south academy of Sciences and a foreign expert came to Anhua in Hunan to carry out geological survey, and found the Tillite layer of seven hundred million years ago in the village of shaju, zhe Xi Town. It not only kept well the rock record 700 million years ago, but also preserved the rock record of the "hot chamber" climate event after the ice age. This discovery provides valuable data for scientists to study the climate, geology and the evolution of the earth at that time.
A few decades ago, the rock in Huaihua area of Hunan province (from Yuanling county to Jingxian county) has been discovered. There are records in the reports of many exploration units.

There are Tillite in the towns of Dongshan Township, Fuwang mountain forest farm, Furong mountain forest farm, Liao Jiping reservoir, Xinqiao Township, Mu Kong Township, Gaoming Township, Kowloon Township, Tong Tong Pu Zhen and Dafu town.
